FC United Satellite Program
This program is specifically intended for rural community programs and non-metro high school communities only.
The primary objective of our satellite program is to extend soccer opportunities to satellite communities where demographics often make it challenging to provide their soccer players and coaches with a realistic, sustainable and uniform development path. We realize that the primary driver for these communities is to help prepare and strengthen their player pool as they eventually migrate into their high school programs.
The primary objectives we will strive to extend include:
- Maintain a program that provides avenues for players to compete in development-appropriate levels as they mature.
- Maintain a price-point that keeps it affordable along with a greater value by partnering with a sustainable organization that will support the varying needs of the players.
- Provide a higher level of knowledge and preparation for coaches, through the implementation of the FC United curriculum, coach education, along with parent education and organizational structure.
The initiatives of the FC United Satellite Program include the following:
- An established curriculum and coaching platform that outlines an age-relevant educational pathway for players at various ages.
- Satellite Coach training from within the community leadership (required)
- Provide an overarching structure that will streamline and minimize operational expenses for families and players, as opposed to a community stand-alone program, which would require significant administrative expense and other organizational challenges.
- Potential inclusion in games and events (development-appropriate) which align with other FC United teams, and our club calendar of events.
FORMAT
9U-10U – 10 players min for team entry
